I do not provide counseling or crisis intervention through this site.

If you need immediate help, please call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1.800.273.8255 (TALK) in the U.S., or the emergency services in your area if you live elsewhere. You can also check out the Resources page for a list of other places where you can receive help by phone, text, email, or online chat.

This website is a public service designed solely to share information and education. I offer counseling only by appointment in my Denver, CO office, and by phone or online to Colorado residents. If you live in Colorado and would like to become a psychotherapy client, please see my website www.StaceyFreedenthal.com for information about how to access my services.

Except for a link to my book, Helping the Suicidal Person: Tips and Techniques for Professionals, this site contains no advertising. There are numerous other Amazon links on the site, and I receive no commission from your clicking on them or purchasing a book.

Guest Columns

I publish guest columns very, very rarely. If you’re interested in submitting one, please contact me first by submitting the form below. Due to time constraints, I’m unable to reply to all emails asking to publish a guest column on my site. If you don’t hear from me in response to your request, please consider that a “no.”

Resources List

If you see an important resource related to suicide or crisis counseling missing from the Resources List, please let me know by submitting a comment below. Please note that I typically do not include organizations or businesses that are for-profit, or that do not have a special focus on suicide and crisis intervention.

If you have questions about any other aspects of the website, please ask using the comment form below. Depending on the substance of your request, I will try to respond.
